Hi. I do graphic design and illustrations.
Available for freelance and/or friendly conversations.

I dabble in motion graphics and photography. Minimalism is my first love, but I have since also developed a taste for more light-hearted illustrations, and experimental chaos. My style and tastes contradict as much as they overlap, and I'd like to think there is a visual sensibility that unifies it all.

I am lucky to have produced designs that have attracted a fair amount of attention worldwide. A lot of it has to do with the power of the Internet and good timing, but I am determined to develop my skills to match my fortunes so far. I hope you enjoy my work.

Freelance designer 2007 - Present
Created logos, posters, illustrations, and other designs for a variety of projects. Notable clients include Coca-Cola, for which I worked with Ogilvy & Mather to design a poster for its Open Happiness campaign, and Holt Renfrew, a high-end Canadian fashion brand which invited me to design a limited edition sweatshirt for its 175th anniversary.
Police Married Quarters Revitalization 2012, January - Februrary
Intern at Danish design agency Kontrapunkt
The Police Married Quarters in Hong Kong is scheduled to reopen in 2014 as a new important creative hub for the city, and a brand is needed to represent its future image. I was one of the two students who travelled to Copenhagen for 2 weeks, and participated in the process. Working under the guidance of Danish and Hong Kong design agencies, Kontrapunkt and Kan & Lau respectively, my main tasks included proposing ideas for the identity, testing the graphical applications of different visual approaches, and developing the Chinese logotype accompanying the main logo.
Design × Culture Navigator 2011, July – August
Student design team at the Information Design Lab
I designed layouts for a Hong Kong travel guide initiated by the School of Design, and proposed ideas for the book’s organizational framework. Besides working on the typography and overall design, I also carried out research on the areas covered by the guidebook, and compiled the information for the team’s reference.
